Hi, I’m PurpleLy. I enjoy reading Chinese BL wuxia, xianxia novels. Some of my favourites are Grandmaster of the Demonic Cultivation (MDZS), Scum Villain’s Self Saving System (SVSSS), Heaven Official’s Blessing (TGCF), The Husky and His White Cat Shizun (2ha) and countless others…
I also read BL comics, watch BL shows, and draw BL characters when I can find the time.
I started doing translations as a means to pass the time and also because I really enjoyed the novel “Did We Agree To Be Arch-Rivals?”. At that time, it had yet to be completed and I thought I might try my hand at it.
As of 2023, I’ve found another BL novel to translate—“Infinite Power Over The World”. This novel is significantly different in writing style and tone compared to the earlier novel, being that it can be rather graphic and gruesome at times.
Nonetheless, I’ve undertaken it as a project to challenge and improve my language skills.
